A uniquely shaped and conditioned professional golf course which offers an excellent golfing experience is to be found in the foothills of the Beskydy mountains. This well-known golf course which covers an area of more than 100 hectares.

In July 2004, the Ropice golf course opened the long-awaited master nine. The architectural design, high-quality rendition and originality of some of the holes surpassed all expectations. The golf course also offers a six-hole training academy, an indoor teeing ground, practice areas for short game – pitching and putting greens.

The Beskydska Golfova joint stock company, operator of the golf course, started building 9 more holes in 2005. The landscape pattern of the lynx course in the undulating foothills will remain unchanged and a second nine to come will provide golfers with even more beautiful, panoramic views and interesting holes. The Austrian architect Hans Georg Erhardt, who justly ranks among the best European golf course architects, has designed both nines. An international team of experts under the supervision of Garry Ashfield from the UK are participating in the construction of the golf course. The second nine will welcome its first visitors in September 2006.

Clubhouse
The newly-constructed clubhouse offers comfortable facilities to the members of the Beskydy golf club, such as: a restaurant with a garden, requisite golf shop, a wellness centre with a massage parlour and sauna with a cold-water pool and a lounge. The underground area serves as storage space.
